Penny Porter lives her life behind a computer screen, where she blogs about her feelings, her relationships, and high school drama. As if things couldn’t get worse, her panic attacks are more frequent, and Penny’s parents want to spend Christmas in New York City. However, there she meets charming Noah, a smooth talking guitarist whom she can’t help but fall for. But much like Penny, Noah has secrets too that could put her blog at risk, as well as her closest friendships.
I loved how the book was written by a YouTuber, who actually runs her own blog. Within the book, the author provided much advice about dealing with typical problems that I found myself relating too. The characters of the story were also well established and the dialogue was truly unique. However, I thought that the ending didn’t offer enough closure and that the book moved very quickly, leaving out some key details. Otherwise, it was worth the read.
One of the most memorable things about the book was Penny’s and Noah’s relationship. It was described much like any first love and was really relatable in many circumstances.

Random stuff about me:
* Favorite book: Hmmmm, this is hard, since it changes all the time as I read new stuff and depending on what mood I’m in. However, there is one book that I know will still make me snort with laughter even when I’m 80 years old — The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, by Douglas Adams.
* Favorite food: perfectly made toast
* Favorite band/music: Cake. I will never get enough Cake.
* Favorite reference question: Q: How long does it take the galaxy to rotate once? A: It’s called a galactic or cosmic year and it takes about 225-250 million earth years.
* Pets: I have two cats and a dog. Marcus and Grey are the cats who were rescued from a box in the woods when they were just little puffballs. When they are not acting insane, they are very sweet and purr loudly. My dog is named Peter and he's a medium size poodle mix (we call him the substandard poodle). He's got floppy ears, snores and loves green beans.
