Read + Review — Four: A Divergent Collection, by Veronica Roth

Four: A Divergent Collection by Veronica Roth is set in a futuristic setting, two years before the time of the Divergent series. It is about Four and his journey during initiation, and the experiences that shaped him into the person Tris met. It gives insight to some of the main characters in Divergent and their motives. Four: A Divergent Collection gave many minor and major characters from Divergent added depth, mainly explaining Eric’s evil and Four’s drive.

I would recommend Four: A Divergent Collection by Veronica Roth to any fan of the Divergent Series. It was action packed, and filled with bonus stories and explanations. It gave an added perspective to Four’s character, showing a side of him that was not seen in any of the Divergent books. Overall, I loved the book and enjoyed the perspective it gave.

The most memorable thing about Four: A Divergent Collection by Veronica Roth was the insight it gave into Four’s early life. In the Divergent series, many details of Four’s life were left out, and this book gave great explanations and tied up loose ends.
