Read + Review — Percy Jackson’s Greek Heroes by Rick Riordan

PJs Greek HeroesPercy Jackson’s Greek Heroes is about “surprise, surprise” Greek heroes. It follows the stories of 12 different heroes. Percy’s hilarious narration follows the tragic and compelling tales of Perseus, Psyche, Phaethon, Hercules, Theseus, Otrera, Cyrene, Atalanta, Daedalus, Bellerophon, Orpheus, and Jason. It is extraordinary how Rick Riordan can turn a Greek mythology textbook into something kids can laugh at. With its memorable characters, twisting plot, and a spice of humor it is a true masterpiece.

I think this book was stunning. It has everything you would expect of Rick Riordan. Humor, a rich story line, and spirited character. Percy Jackson also adds his own magic with his comical and priceless narration of the tragic but intriguing stories of Perseus, Psyche, Phaethon, Hercules, Theseus, Otreta, Cyrene, Atalanta, Daedalus, Bellerophon, Orpheus, and Jason. I loved and cherished every bit from beginning to end.

I think the most monumental thing about this book was Percy’s magnetic narration. His humorous point of view compelled me to keep reading.
