Read + Review — Daniel X: Lights Out by James Patterson

51NSTIm-sfL._SX325_BO1,204,203,200_After coming to earth from Alpar Nok, Daniel X, Alien Hunter hunts down rogue aliens and defeats them, one by one, as the name suggests. Daniel has defeated almost every alien thug and villain that has anything against earth. He has only one left: the ultimate villain, the one who killed his parents, friends and blew up his planet. Daniel X defeats aliens through his power to materialize anything he wants out of his imagination, even things as random and impossible as a unicorn. Who will win this war between good and evil? There’s a whole series of his other adventures ready to answer that question.

I’d give the book 5 stars. It’s, by far, the best fiction book I’ve read, other than Jump Man by James Valentine. The book is very well written, and structured. Though it is pretty boring at the beginning, it starts to have exciting surprises in later chapters. So, in the end, you will be wowed. The book is amazing because it has a lot of twists, surprises, and new info to keep you interested in how the story changes.

I like the balance between fiction and realism. Books that are too fictional end up making little to no sense, and they’re hard to understand. When books are balanced, it’s easier for the reader to relate to the story.
