Read + Review — The Six by Mark Alpert

The book is about a boy named Adam who has muscular dystrophy and will soon die. Sitting in his wheelchair, he can play virtual-reality games. However, this AI named Sigma hacks into his computer and soon hacks into the world. It’s up to Adam and five other teens who have incurable diseases. Can the Six stop Stigma before it’s too late?

I thought that this book was action packed, with a lot of twists and turns. It was an alive, exciting, and emotional at times. Believe it or not, this book gives out lots of information about technology.  If you enjoy programming and software, this is definitely the book for you.

One memorable thing about this book is that it reminds us that, even with the advanced technology we have today, there are still many things that we can’t fix. For example, people are talking about making a trip to Mars when we can’t cure some diseases. We should fix everything on this planet before moving on to another
