This book tells the stories of many Greek heroes and the difficulties that the heroes had to overcome to keep the world from jeopardy. Each story focuses on a single hero, shows his or her accomplishments, and demonstrates how he or she is heroic. The book tells about different gods and monsters that battle and clash with different heroes in order to keep control over them. An example is the story of Perseus and Medusa in which the hero, Perseus, must hunt down and kill Medusa who is a monster that will turn you into stone if you look into her eyes.
I thought that this book was very detailed and good because it was full of intense and action-packed situations. It included things from holding the sky up with two hands to pushing your own nephew off a building because he had better inventions. All of the heroes were brave, noble, and bold. The situations in this story were suspenseful and always left you stunned after you read the end result. If you are a fan of the Percy Jackson series, than you will definitely like this book.
One memorable thing about this book is that in all of the stories, the heroes are assigned with a nearly impossible task that has never been completed before. If you would like to find out if the heroes succeed in completing these tasks, you should read this book.
