Eight kids are chosen to help save the world. Fossil fuel levels are at a dangerous low, and the only hope is a source of energy out of this solar system. Dash Conroy is chosen for the team due to his ability to work with people. When many truths are exposed, the team of kids realize that the trip is more dangerous and complicated than they thought.
The book was nice, and action packed, but something made the book easier to put down. I wish that some of the characters were more described, but I like the fact that there are a lot more books coming out. I felt like the people who were chosen were the ones that worked the best together, and not necessarily the best fit for the trip. I also feel like the other character’s views were not conveyed as well as Dash’s.
One memorable thing was when Anna showed that she only cared about winning, and not about teamwork. I felt like she betrayed the group, even though they were all competing for spots. She seemed mean that way, almost like an enemy.
