This book was about a boy named Rafe Katchadorian who has a hard time dealing with middle school. He makes some new friends and they help him. He also has a bully named Miller. Miller is on the football team and is constantly making fun of Rafe and picking on him. As Rafe goes through middle school he realizes how to deal with people like Miller.
I thought this book was very funny. I think that it is a great way to laugh about something like starting middle school. I liked how it was kind of a picture book but still was a chapter book and for middle schoolers. This book was very good and I think that it would be a good book to read before starting middle school. In this book they show you how even though you can be very nervous about it, there is still a way to have fun and make the best out of it.
I think one of the most memorable things about this book was when Rafe and Flip go to their first middle school party. Rafe ends up freaking out about it and it was really funny.
