Deedra is definitely not a normal girl. She lives in a mega-city on Earth where life has been forever changed by the disastrous Red Rain. Deedra is doing her normal routine when she meets a mysterious boy named Rose. With Rose around, life is about to get a lot more interesting. Although the two become fast friends, Rose stills hides his past. And suddenly, he is accused with the murder of another boy. Will Deedra be able to save Rose in time? On second thought, does she really want to?

I enjoyed the book very much. There were many plot twists that kept me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed Rose’s character because he is almost like the perfect boy that any girl would love to have by her side. I liked how although there was romance, the author was still able to include a lot of action and adventure.

One memorable thing about the book is that readers can easily relate to the characters. The characters go through situations that people in real life also go through. Some incidents in the book have deeper meanings and others are in plain sight.
