Jamie Grimm has risen to the Planet’s Funniest Kid Comic Contest finals, which is in three days. Jamie is freaking out, and is doing all he can to be able to handle the competition. His hardest audience? The Smileys, his own family. Their names are ironic, since they NEVER smile. The competition changes to one of the most major TV networks, the prize changes to 1,000,000 dollars, and stuff goes down, literally.
One thing that I liked about the book is the irony. Although Jamie is a stand-up comedian, he is not able to stand up. He calls himself a sit-down comedian. I disliked Stevie, since he was a bully to Jamie. Although they are brothers, they act like enemies, which could be normal for other people, too.
One memorable thing is the relationship with Stevie and Jamie. It’s very complex, and sometimes their cool with each other, but sometimes they hate each other more than ice cream in Antarctica.
