Read + Review — The Fifth Wave by Rick Yancey

fifth_wave The day the Others arrived, nothing was the same. There were four waves: one shutting out all power sources, the second a tsunami, and the third a massive plague. In the fourth wave, the Others started appearing in person on Earth. Cassie is all alone, until she meets Evan Walker, her only hope for rescuing her young brother. Could Evan be someone to lean on, or is he just another enemy to watch out for?

I thought the book was very interesting. There was a very complicated plot line with twists everywhere. It was great to see different perspectives throughout the story, and catch up with some of my favorite characters.. Overall, I loved the book and can’t wait for the movie.

It was very memorable how Cassie’s relationship with Evan kept taking a different turn. I liked how we could trust Evan one moment, and hate him the next.
