I really enjoyed this book. I loved how the humor and sarcasm kept coming, always lightening the mood. Each character was enjoyable, especially Nic Calva. Even though his plans were likely to end in horrible ways, I loved how it showed the character of Nic, loyal and willing to sacrifice his life for others. Loyalty, in my opinion, is a character trait of high value. Sometimes, I wish that Nic wasn’t so doubtful of his worth and ready to die, but I can see and sympathize with his guilt. It all tied together very nicely. This book was really great, so read the Mark of the Thief trilogy! After that, read all of Jennifer A. Nielsen’s books!
One memorable thing about Wrath of the Storm is when at one point, it was told in Aurelia’s point of view. In the other two books, they were told completely in Nic’s point of view. It was interesting to read the thoughts and emotions of Aurelia, and how her point of view was different from Nic’s.
