HCPL’s second annual Comic Con is right around the corner. It will take place on June 24th from 1-5 pm at the Varina Area Library. The event is open to fans of all ages!
To help you get in the proper Comic Con mood, we recommend you visit one of our awesome library programs happening during the month of May!!
We will be celebrating May the 4th Be with You at several branches. At Gayton library. Tuckahoe library, and Varina library. Or, if you are more inclined toward the dark side of the force, Sandston library is hosting Revenge of the 5th on Friday May 5th.
This Saturday (May 6th), we will be giving out free comic books at all locations in honor of Free Comic Book Day!
And starting next week, Varina Area Library has planned several programs which include cosplay prep and the history of comics! Please make sure you sign up for the cosplay creation workshops due to limited space.
