3rd Annual Summer Teen Writing Contest – Week 7

Hi! I’m Amanda, the Teen Librarian at Fairfield Area Library. I have a four-legged child named Bailey, a cat who acts like a dog. He plays fetch, chases his tail and comes when he is called. Favorite Books: I love reading mystery novels and young adult fiction. Team Peeta! My favorite books are always changing, but my favorite series at the moment are the Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken and the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. Anything by Jasper Fforde, Rick Riordan, Steve Berry or Steve Sheinkin. Favorite Food: I love food, but nothing tops homemade macaroni and cheese. Favorite Music: I will listen to almost anything; but I tend to lean more towards pop, rock, show tunes and country. I am also a huge fan of a-capella music (which includes all genres).
