This book was about Camp Half Blood in Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus, and Trials of Apollo book series. The book includes maps, stories, interviews, and other information about the camp. It gives an inside view of the camp and some background stories, written from the campers’ point of view. It tells the story through a mixture of interviews and brochures.
I thought this book was a good read. It has a mixture of many styles and viewpoints. It tells you what camp is like by the campers and is written for kids to understand. I did not like that some of the stories had a lot of distracting detail. I though it was cool how it seemed like you where reading about an actual place.
I though this book was funny because it shows an old, funny version of the guide to the training camp and the new, helpful, yet still funny guide. I thought the brochures where also memorable because they were written like the camp was a good vacation resort.
