Read + Review: 3D printing the revolution in personalized manufacturing

This book talks mostly about the history of 3D printing, and the pioneers of this growing technology. Interesting bits include an interview with Chuck Hull, the father of modern 3D printing, a section on different types of 3D printing, and a device that prints candy. One chapter focuses on implementing 3D printing in the medical field, and examples of already tested devices. The author also discusses the future of 3D printing, and everyday applications of it.

I thought the book was very interesting and informative, and it opened me up to a lot of new ideas and technologies. The book used a lot of terminologies that were a bit confusing, but the author did provide a glossary in the back. The interviews offered different opinions and ideas on the subject, and showed how people were using 3D printing to change their industry, and make their lives better. The actual book itself was written in an organized and informative manner, and the author did a great job overall.

One memorable thing was a section which talked about how 3D printers could be used to make food and even candy! I have seen a working pancake printer before, and it is a really cool experience. Overall this was a pretty good book, and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in 3D printing.
