Build a Robot with Our 3D Printer @ the Twin Hickory Library Digital Media Lab!
Have any school projects where you need to create an object that has never before existed? Come use our new 3D printer at the Twin Hickory Library Digital Media Lab! If you have a Henrico County Library Card and a 3D design file, you can place a request for a 3D print job!
3D Printer
The Digital Media Lab has a MakerBot Replicator Mini 3D printer available for public use. If you’ve created something (via a program like Tinkercad) or downloaded something someone else designed (via a service like Thingiverse, where we found our adorable robot) you can request that it be printed.
Learn more about how to print your creation on our 3D printing page.
The Digital Media Lab is available for self-serve use by intermediate and advanced users and can be booked by Henrico County Public Library card holders ages 14 and above. Basic information about the Digital Media Lab resources can be provided by library staff. Staff may be available by appointment for more in depth assistance. Classes may be offered on the use of the hardware and software in the Digital Media Lab.
