Read + Review-Useless Bay by M. J. Beaufrand

useless-bay

On Whidbey Island, the Gray quintuplets are an extraordinary search- and-rescue team that save tourists, children, and lost pets. But, a young boy goes missing, and the Grays have to step up. When Pixie finds a dead body, they realize that it has become more than just a missing case. Secrets unravel, and Pixie is getting haunted by the murdered man who trained her dog.

This book is a breath-taking mystery with nail-biting parts. I liked the mysterious setting, and the fascinating plot. The dilemmas and problems were so realistic, that it made me feel as if I were in the book. Bravery and courageousness being shown in the book after a sad part made me tear up on the inside.

A memorable thing about the book is the way that they were able to deal with emotional distress. After sad events, the characters were able to stay brave and continue. This added more inspirational power to the characters.
